The land of the bicycle - on trains too

Everything here is bike friendly. No one even looked twice as we loaded our heavily loaded bikes onto the bike area of the train and squeezed them all in. We paid extra for the bikes of course, but it was completely hassle free. We thought we had filled this compartment, but then a man on a motorized wheelchair crammed his machine on as well, with some help from Rob. This man was very helpful in explaining the transfer to Rob, and as we exited the train, we were able to roll down his ramp as well, a privilege not normally extended to bikes. I noticed this morning that even public servants do their work from bicycles; the pharmacy delivery man had big pharmacy bins on his bike and the postal workers had mail in enormous carriers on their bikes. We have much to learn from these healthy active people.
