We safely arrived in Haarlem, and have been enjoying the sights and sounds and smells of a new town. Across from our hotel door is the "Coffee House" called high times, where you can purchase one gram of pot (Wiet) for five Euros, two grams for ten. Or you have the option of one gram of Hash for six and a half euros. Jessica kept me company yesterday when I went there to buy my morning coffee (no one else was open), and I was served my coffee, but then the salesclerk told me if we were to sit down with coffee, even on the terrasse, he would need to see Jessica's ID to be sure she was 18. I laughed and said "SHE'S 13!!" So he asked us to leave, but graciously allowed me to keep my coffee cup.

Jessica gets carded at High Times Coffee House
