In this village, Monday evening is "school walk" night. From about 6pm until 8 pm, the entire school district turns out for their weekly mass walk. The kids were all in their green school t-shirts, and their families made up the rest of this parade of hundreds of people". They bike all day and then walk all evening....briskly! We have much to learn. Imagine if our communities could do this!! It is social, healthy and fun. The rest of the town was like a ghost town, because everyone was out "loopen".
